BEWARE! **FOOD POISONING** My friend and I ate here before volunteering at the Sundance Film Festival this year. It was close and convenient to grab some dinner at the Mountain Grill before heading to our theater. We both ordered the buffalo burger with fries and the butternut squash soup. It tasted just fine and the service was alright. Speaking of their service, a group of friends and I ate here in Jan. of 2007 during last year's festival too. We ended up walking out after waiting an hour after ordering and not receiving our food. Nobody even spoke proper english and the waiters ended up yelling at each other. I'm not sure why we gave this place a second chance. At 3am (about 8 hours after eating here), I woke up and began a puking fest that lasted 2 full days. I missed out on about 8 films because of it and had never felt worse in my life. I will never return to eat at Mountain Grill. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I stayed at the Yarrow for a conference and ordered food from here because it was convenient. I was very much unimpressed and would've been more upset if I had to pay for the food out of pocket. I got buffalo wings and tiramisu. The buffalo wings were decent - not much flavor, and the tiramisu was awful. It tasted like a dried piece of cake. I go a cup of lemonade for $3.95 and it was the size of a 8oz coffee cup. Overall, not happy with the food and would not eat there again.

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It was average. I did like that they have excellent fresh fruit with their breakfast's. They delivered my order incorrectly and it had to go back. The coffee was mediocre and the service was just okay. I'd go there again if there was no place else to go.

For a small restaurant attached to the Yarrow, not bad! Mac and cheese was smokey and gouda-ey filled with extra bacon as requested, topped with a toasted panko crust. Better than some I have had on main street, with prompt service.

I sat down and about ten to fifteen minutes later two more people sat down. We all waited awhile and then the other two tables got helped. We waited and waited and finally someone came. They never brought our drinks, they messed up on my husbands order and I watched other tables send things back. Some of the food was good but your service is awful and your servers are useless. Thanks for nothing

Where do the Parkites go for an inexpensive breakfast? The Yarrow is just one of the spots. If you are a local, you know to get the "local's special", which includes coffee, eggs, bacon or sausage, pancakes or bread. As one who tries to avoid wheat, they will substitute the wheat product with fresh fruit.

The signature chicken sandwich is awesome! It has bacon jam! The jam is the creation of Jason, the chef. The jam is salty, sweet, and spicy. Then you get the smokey from the chipotle dressing. The chicken breast is even pounded flat so as not disturb the bacon jam/chicken ratio! The bun is lightly toasted but not to mask any dryness as is done in other restaurants. Highly recommend this sandwich. The pulled pork with the coleslaw is also good.

Very disappointing to have an18$ breakfast "buffet" with such a humble selection of items. Even though quality of food was fine, we were not able to find even the most trivial items such as...BREAD!

Driving around Park City looking for a spot to grab some breakfast, we decided to stop by this joint located inside of a small resort. When we walked in, there were 2 tables of customers and no employees. We stood around for a few minutes (this should have keyed me in to leave) waiting to be seated. We could hear employees cracking jokes and BS'ing in the kitchen....finally, someone came out and seated us. After browsing the menu, we ordered: Chef's Signature Chicken Sandwich, $8 yelp.com/biz_photos/moun… Breakfast Burrito, $10 yelp.com/biz_photos/moun… The food took forever to be delivered....mind you, we could hear the staff in the background cracking jokes the entire time. When the food finally came out, it was cold. My Burrito was no bueno. The Better Half had the Chicken Sandwich and she allowed me to have a couple of bites....it was pretty good, but also cold. These goofball employees were too busy messing around in the back to pay attention to the restaurant. While we were waiting for our food, a couple of people walked in, waited and then walked out.....we should have done the same. Too bad because it looks like the place has some potential. The experience here was not enjoyable. We were staying at the Yarrow and came here for breakfast. When the waiter came to take our order, he just came and stood by our table with his notepad, he never said a word except to say they were out if what we wanted to order. My husband ordered pancakes. They arrived cold. He sent them back. Next stack was a little warmer, but still weren't hot. Probably the most uncomfortable part of our visit was witnessing the experience of the family sitting next to us. They arrived before us and had their drinks. However, we overheard them going to a waiter to tell them they had been there 30 minutes and no one had taken their order yet. So, finally someone did take their order. But then it took at least another 20 minutes before their food arrived. We had received our food and were almost done eating when their food came. We also watched several people come in and wait 5 minutes to be seated. The food was just ok. Would not recommend.

Unremarkable. I have no idea what I ate there. Service was slow and inattentive but my bartender was mostly on top of things. Not sure if I'd ever go back though. It was the only place I could find during Sundance that had free parking.

We booked four nights at the Yarrow Resort and were provided breakfast vouchers for our stay. Although they no longer offer a buffet-style breakfast, you can basically order whatever you want off the menu (including juice and coffee) on the voucher. On a couple of occasions, they were kind enough to provide complimentary side orders of bacon, pancakes, and toast to supplement the meal. Having sampled different menu selections for each of the four days, I can generally praise the variety of their offerings and the nice portion sizes (important when preceding a full day of skiing!) My favorite was the fresh fruit crepes, made from an assortment of cut berries and banana, wrapped inside of two side-by-side crepes dusted with confectioner's sugar and drizzled with caramel. Service was speedy and friendly, and the morning waiter got to know us by the third day, bringing out our "usual" drinks before taking our meal orders. Aside from the obvious convenience factor, I'm glad we got the breakfast vouchers here, and would definitely do the same if we were to return to this hotel.

I was initially hesitant to have dinner here with my husband after reading the bad reviews of food and service. But we had food/bev vouchers from booking our stay with Groupon that we needed to use and chose to use them on a Wednesday evening. There were only two other diners in the restaurant when we arrived, and no host or server in sight so we took a seat as directed by the sign in front. There was a nice fireplace in one corner of the restaurant. Our server arrived with menus after a couple of minutes and he did a fine job making sure that we were satisfied throughout our meal. The dinner menu was pretty small but it was indicated that it was their summer menu so maybe they will have a larger menu soon. We started with the toasted ravioli and they were delicious. My husband is from St. Louis and so we are well acquainted with this dish. The chef did a great job with them, they seemed very fresh and were perfectly prepared. The mac and cheese was also good; very creamy and cheesy. For my entree I ordered the chicken and gorganzola pasta. It had fresh mushrooms and garlic cloves in the sauce. I thought it was pretty good and it was a huge portion so I was able to box most of it and eat it the next day. The rigatoni in this dish was pretty overcooked (the same pasta as the mac and cheese, but really soft pasta is more appropriate for mac and cheese than for a pasta entree). I'm not too picky about things like overly-cooked pasta myself but it was far from al dente and I don't believe it was handmade. My husband ordered the pork chop and was pleased. He also received a large plate of food that included great fresh veggies. We took cheesecake to go and it was good. All in all we enjoyed our dinner here and would dine again if we stay at the Yarrow again.
